Rugby Ball 2026

On the 26th of February, we hosted our Annual Rugby Ball in the Ardilaun, an evening that proved to be one of the standout moments of the season. The event was a tremendous success, bringing together players, coaches, alumni, committee members, and friends of the club to celebrate everything that makes the University of Galway Rugby Club such a special community.

Throughout the night, we reflected on a season filled with hard work, development, and memorable performances across all teams. A series of club awards were presented, recognising outstanding contributions both on and off the pitch — from individual excellence and leadership to commitment, teamwork, and club spirit. Each award highlighted the dedication shown by our players and the collective effort that drives the club forward.

The evening was not only about achievements but also about celebrating the strong bonds within our club. As always, the Rugby Ball showcased the positive, welcoming, and inclusive culture we pride ourselves on. Players from every team came together to enjoy the night, share stories from the season, and celebrate as one united club.
